SUNSHINE COAST - Outdoors - National Parks & Gardens

The Sunshine Coast boasts more national parks than any other region in Queensland including Noosa National Park, one of the Australia’s most visited National Parks and the Mooloolah River National Park one of the few remaining local coastal rainforest areas and an important home for endangered wildlife. The adjoining Fraser Coast is home to massive dunes, towering cliffs of coloured sands, wide ocean beaches and World Heritage listed wonders including Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. Dramatically cascading waterfalls, trickling streams and amazing flora and fauna can be clearly seen from the many tracks and trails that wind their way through the Nature Coast’s National Parks and gardens.
